The arrival of a Gyr Saker Falcon
GYR x SAKER FALCON - A NEW ARRIVAL TO OUR NEW BIRD OF PREY CENTRE
This beautiful falcon with grey phased feather plumage arrived on the 21st July 2009.
Named: Clyde
Sex: Male
Origin: Captive Bred
Hatch Date: 29th June 2009
Clyde was acquired as an important member of our team of falcons for public flying displays. Being such a young falcon Clyde will need to go through a full training program to enable soar the skies over the Centre.
During opening times, visitors can meet him & watch how he progresses through his training program. All funds generated from our Bird of Prey Centre will help raise important funds to support the many projects we undertake in support Barn Owl Conservation.
