Established in 1997 and registered as a charity in 2003, the Barn Owl Centre is committed to education, wildlife conservation, and bird welfare.
Our Charity Mission
- Advance the conservation and preservation of wild barn owls and other British owls and raptor species through research and environmental projects.
- Promote biodiversity and encourage the conservation of all wildlife.
- Conserve, maintain, and protect all land managed by the charity for the benefit of the environment, wildlife, and people.
- Provide a working centre with a nature reserve and public amenity areas, offering educational and recreational activities about owls, raptors, and other wildlife species, including native flora.
- Offer a sanctuary to aid the rescue and rehabilitation of owls and raptors.
- Advance public education on owl and raptor welfare and husbandry.
