SNOWY OWL - A NEW ARRIVAL TO OUR NEW BIRD OF PREY CENTRE
This beautiful Snowy Owl arrived on the 27th June 2009.
Named: Sweeny
Sex: Female
Origin: Captive Bred
Hatch Date: 27th May 2008
At only a year old, we are now her 3rd owner & her last, Sweeny will be staying with us as a permanent resident.
Now with us she will be trained to join our flying team of birds at our New Bird of Prey Centre. Being a British species Sweeny will be assisting us with Educational work as well as other tasks that will make her life enjoyable.
Training Sweeny for free flying will soon commence once she as settled in to her new home, updates will follow in time. All funds generated from our Bird of Prey Centre will help raise important funds to support the many projects we undertake in support Barn Owl Conservation.
