To help expand the dedicated team here at the Barn Owl Centre, we are now looking for additional helpers that have an interest in our work, for insurance purposes, the minimum age must be 16.

Below is a brief description of the type of vacancies that are at present available.

Grounds Person Wanted (POSITION TAKEN)
(Voluntary Position)
We are looking for someone who is keen, willing & interested in helping out with the management of the 12 acres of habitat we have here at the Barn Owl Centre. If you have an interest supporting wildlife by helping to enhance & manage our new Nature Reserve, give us a call, we would like to hear from you.

Trainee Bird Staff (16yrs upwards) (POSITIONS TAKEN)
(Voluntary Position)
This is a part time voluntary position that is available for people who have an interest in the welfare of Owls, Hawks, Falcons & a very special Golden Eagle. The position will involve helping the bird handling team with the cleaning of bird enclosures, equitment & bird training. Can you help out during weekdays or weekends from from the hours of 9.30am until 12noon

Receptionist (Help Required)
(Voluntary Position for Weekends & School Holidays)
Can you spare some time to help at the Centre during Weekends & Schcool Holidays, between the hors of 10am & 5pm.

Fundraisers (Help Required)
(Voluntary Position)
We are looking to expand our existing fundraising team, can you spare either a Thursday, Friday or most important a Saturday between the hours of 9am until 5pm. This involves working away from the Centre within public places like Shopping Centres etc, Full support & training provided.

Computer Graphic Designer (POSITION TAKEN)
(Part-time Voluntary Position)
To help with all graphics & signs aroound the farm including promotional material. Weekdays only.

Grant Support Officer - (Help Required)
(Voluntary Position)
As a charity, grant funding would be a real help to us especially in support of our conservation work & the develpment of the farm. If you feel you could assist our charity by helping by putting grant applications together, please get in touch.
