The Barn Owl Centre is a registered charity that was formed in January 1997. For those who are not aware, we moved the whole of our organisation from Brockworth in to Netheridge Farm during March 2008. Since the move we have rebuild a new Centre to accommodate the work of the charity, which included new facilities for the many birds in our care. During the summer of 2009 we opened our doors to the visiting public. More information can be found by scrolling down the page or by visiting other pages of our website.

Summary to what’s on site

 - Barn Owl Centre – We offer support to the conservation of wild owls & the rehabilitation of all raptors that come into our care. Come & meet our Conservation staff, there is always someome available to talk to or to offer advice on how you can support your local Owl population.
 - Bird of Prey Centre –
As an added section we have created Gloucester City's first Birds of Prey Centre, this is proving a great success with our visitors. Come and join us to enjoy the working relationship we have with our birds, here we have a variety of Owls, Hawks, Buzzards & a magestic Golden Eagle.
 - 12 acre Nature Reserve –
During the summer of 2009 we opened the first stages of our new Owl Conservation Centre with our first Nature Reserve spread over 12½ acres. This is our first nature reserve in the making & already we can see how the local wildlife is benefiting from the hard work that has been done. For visitors who enjoy wildlife, this simply adds so much more during a visit.
 - Bird of Prey Experiences – All our hands-on Bird of Prey Experience operate separately to the visiting centre, this is by booking only, with or without gift vouchers. Click Here

Here you can have great views of some of the wild residents that inhabit the farm in addition it is a great place to photograph an array of species that are present during a visit. With approximately 3 miles of grass footpaths, this provides our visitors with easy access through the habitats we have given back to support localised wildlife.

During a visit you can share your experiences with our Conservation team, it is always a pleasure for us to hear what others are doing to support these beautiful birds.
