Adopt an Owl Box

This is a great way to help to support a home wild Owls. Adopting a nest box is a simple way to support the important project work we undertake to provide a wild Owls with a home & a place to rest & raise young.

The Barn Owl Centre have to date positioned well over 1200 nest boxes within the countryside at projects sites within Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Oxfordshire & Wiltshire.

When visiting project sites to check boxes, this always puts a lot of strain on what little funds we have as a small charity.

Because we cover a vast amount of countryside we do accumulate a lot of expenses such as fuel costs etc. Positioning a nest box can be an easy task yet monitoring its success can be expensive, this is why the nest sponsorship is so important to us.

With additional support & funding we can do so much more to help theses birds in the wild.

* A Personalised Adoption ID Card for when you are visiting us
» An opportunity to book a personal visit the Centre. During a visit we can update you on the activities of the nest box you have kindly adopted. This cuts out a lot of paperwork for us with less overheads. When visiting the Centre you can also meet the birds we work with.
» Nest Box adoption lasts for a period of 12 months.

Adoption fees are important as we do not receive any grant funding to support the inspection of nest boxes.
