This is a great way to help give an Owl a home. Sponsoring a Nest Box from the Barn Owl Centre is a simple way to help support the important project work we undertake to provide wild Owls with a safe, dry home and a place to rest and raise their young.
The Barn Owl Centre has so far positioned well over 1200 nest boxes within the countryside at various project sites within Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire.
Visiting project sites to check on the Nest Boxes puts a lot of strain on what little funds we have as a small charity. And, because we cover a vast amount of countryside we do accumulate a lot of expenses such as fuel costs etc. Positioning a Nest Box can be an easy task yet monitoring its success can be expensive. This is why your Nest Box sponsorship is so important to us.
With additional support and funding, we can do so much more to help these birds in the wild.

» Free visits to the Barn Owl Centre which needs to be arranged in advance. During a visit, we can update you on the activities of the Nest Box you have kindly sponsored. This cuts out a lot of paperwork for us with less costs on overheads. When visiting the Centre you can also meet the birds we work with.
» Nest Box Sponsorship runs for a period of 12 months.
Sponsorship fees are important as we do not receive any grant funding to support the inspection of Nest Boxes during the breeding season.
