VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
* VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO HELP THE BARN OWL CENTRE * If you fancy some socially-distanced exercise, fresh air, and the chance to help out at a hard-working local charity, the Barn Owl Centre would love to hear from you! As a second lockdown looms, we’re taking advantage of some down-time to have a good tidy-up so we’re looking for volunteers who would be happy to help around the farm complex and Nature Reserve. (Current COVID-19 rules and social distancing apply.) Work could include helping with the management of our wildlife habitats and hedgerows, maintaining paths, and refurbishing our old aviaries. So, whether you’re a gardener, decorator, carpenter, bricklayer, or an all-round handy-person, if you can spare a few hours to help please call 01452 383999 any day between 9am and 9pm. In addition, if any generous companies are able to donate: Timbers 4x2’s, Farm Fencing & Fence Panels, Bricks & Concrete Blocks, Sand & Cement, and the use of a Mini-Digger we would be very grateful.
